A set of blue kebaya belonging to SIA

The Singapore Airlines Ltd (SIA) was incorporated in 1972, and its origins date back to the formation of Malayan Airways Limited (MAL). Today, SIA is Singapore’s flag carrier and one of the most successful airlines in the world. This set of uniforms was worn by SIA’s technical and cabin crew in the 1970s-80s. These artefacts were part of the selection in the time capsule buried in 1990 by then DPM Ong Teng Cheong to celebrate Singapore’s 50th anniversary of independence in 2015.
