Sidetable

This table is likely made in Java out of teakwood. It is extensively carved on all sides and stained red. It is decorated with images of dragons symbolising the emperor, clouds and bats which represent prosperity. Based on the decorations on all sides and the rectangular shape of the table, it might have formed the top half of the sam kai altar, or the altar dedicated to the Jade emperor Ting Kong.
