The Commander of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) medal awarded to William Pickering

This medal was awarded by the British Government to William A. Pickering (1840-1907), the first Protector of Chinese who had been appointed in 1877 to administer the Chinese Protectorate in Singapore.
