Wooden printing block with etched brass plate for coffee and tea labels (Wah Hiang Coffee Powder)

This is a wooden printing block with an etched brass plate bearing logo ‘Wah Hiang Coffee Powder’. Woodblock printing was the predominant method used for manufacturing product labels up to late 20th century. This printing block was used for labelling coffee powder before they were distributed to ‘kopitiams’ (coffeeshops).
