Display cabinet

This rectangular display cabinet exudes an air of modernity through its classic design. It has shelves that end in small angular scrolls and the cabinet's visual appeal is enhanced by the wavy grain of the longyan wood, which has been likened to tiger stripes. Cabinets like this were commonly produced in Fujian to display the numerous objects of art, such as Dehua porcelain figurines, lacquerware and soapstone carvings, also made in the region.
