Straits Chinese teacup with cover

Although most Straits Chinese teacups are small and range in size from 3.5 to 7 cm in diameter, there are also larger teacups which come together with matching covers. This particular teacup has a scalloped rim with gilded edges and depicts floral, phoenix and insect motifs on a plain white porcelain ground.
